Most Popular Incentives and Rebates Searched - October 2011
Each Monday we review our server logs to determine the most popular terms typed in on our car search engine. This week's results were largely taken over by the import brands, with a surprise showing by one European automaker. The top ten used cars searches were:
Nissan incentives
BMW incentives
Toyota rebates
Chevy rebates
Ford intentives
Hyundai incentives
Lexus incentives
Dodge incentives and rebates
Subaru incentives
Honda incentives and rebates
Nissan incentives - The Winner
The leading rebate and incentive brand searched, Nissan incentives blew everyone except the second place contender out of the water by nearly a 2:1 margin. People must really love those big Nissan truck and SUV rebates.
BMW incentives - Runner Up
Lots of people looking for BMW incentives this month, but with no real BMW rebates in sight, only limited financing options were available for October begging the question. How many people followed through? Even then only the BMW 3 Series and BMW 7 Series had any financing below 2% available.
Looking For Deals All Over
No great surprise to see Toyota rebates at the number three spot this month. The Japanese automaker has had hoped to overcome past inventory woes with its recent incentive program only to run into more inventory problems. Chevrolet takes the fourth spot and top domestic automaker this month, most likely on the strength of its Chevy rebates on new trucks and SUVs. Ford incentives were not far behind and had a number of models with big rebates this month.
Also in a three way tie for fifth with Ford was people looking for Hyundai incentive and also somewhat surprisingly, Lexus incentives given the lack of available rebates. Bringing up the rear are Dodge incentives and rebates at eighth, Subaru incentives finished ninth, and Honda incentives and rebates rounded out the bottom of our list this month. That's it for this month, Happy Halloween to everybody; we'll reset the rankings and go at everything again next month.
