New Ford Mustang
The new Ford Mustang is causing a quiet revolution amongst many who wouldn't ordinarily consider themselves to be car enthusiasts. With the bold redesign of the 2005 Mustang, Ford has once again proven that when they put their minds to it, they can make a great muscle car. At LotPro.com we offer a wealth of information about the new Mustangs along with a great resource for ultimately purchasing them.
The biggest and most obvious change that came with the 2005 Mustang is the body design. The 2005 Mustang hearkens back to the Mustangs of the '60s, boasting a front-forward design and beefed-up rear. Ford has certainly not forgotten why the Mustang used to be so popular, however, and they did not skimp when it comes to the engine and the chassis.
The new Mustang comes with the option of either a V6 or an ultra-powerful V8. The V6 is in fact larger and more powerful than the previous one used in Mustangs; it's a 4.0 liter versus a 3.8, and it has 210 hp versus 193 hp. The Mustang GT, true to form, comes with a V8 that is 4.6 liters and has a horsepower of 300! This is the Mustang that car enthusiasts have been pining for.
The Mustang is not only a powerful machine, but it has also performed admirably in safety and crash tests. It received a full five out of five stars in both driver side and passenger side front impact crash tests. Additionally, the Ford Mustang received five stars in the rollover resistance rating. If you decide that you are interested in purchasing a new Ford Mustang, we can certainly help you find the best price on the model of your choice at the dealerships in your area.
