At first take, the new Hyundai rebates and incentives being offered up this February may not seem the hottest of new car deals. Hyundai incentives this month are built mostly of financing specials with cash rebates far and few between for the 2012 models; it's the older leftover 2011 models that have so many people excited. So what are the differences on deals? Let's break them down.
Hyundai Rebates and Incentives - 2012 Model Year
There are plenty of Hyundai rebates and incentives on 2012 model year cars being offered at Hyundai dealer locations all across the United States this month but cash back offers aren't exactly leading the pack. Only $500 in cash back is being offered on the Veracruz or Santa Fe models, which is a real disappoint for anyone hoping to use rebates to kick down their monthly payment. Any real deal on the newer models are on deals like the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Incentives.
Hyundai financing offers on 2012 models is between 0.9% and 1.9% financing. Generally the more expensive models got the 0.9% financing but the 2012 Hyundai Sonata incentives buck this trend by offering both value and cheap financing. The rest of the 2012 deals this month are on new cars under 12000 like the 2012 Hyundai Accent or new cars under 15000 like the Hyundai Elantra which get the 1.9% financing. The all new Hyundai Veloster gets the 1.9% treatment this month as well, along with the Accent, Elantra, Tuscon, and Santa Fe.
Hyundai Rebates and Incentives - 2011 Model Year
Of course the real Hyundai rebates and incentives are on the 2011 models. Rebates are still a little on the light side, as only the Santa Fe and Veracruz once again offer any cash back. Both SUVs have $1000 rebates but it's the continuation of Hyundai 0 percent financing that has many people cruising their local Hyundai dealer locations to check inventory. Below is a list of the models getting zero percent financing.
Hyundai Sonata - 0% financing
Hyundai Sonata Hybrid - 0% financing
Hyundai Genesis Coupe - 0% financing
Hyundai Genesis - 0% financing
Hyundai Veracruz - 0% financing
A pretty impressive list, and there are still quite a few models being offered at 0.9% financing such as the Equus, and 1.9% financing such as new cars under 15000 like the Elantra as well as the Santa Fe and Tucson. Hyunadi has some nice deals being offered but still a little disappointing not to see the Accent on the list. While it got a price jump to the 12000's, back in 2011 it was one of the few new cars under 10 000 you could buy.
Both specials on this years and last years model cars expire at the end of the month however, so you only have a limited time to move. Don't wait if you have any interest in the '11 model years, as those inventories are shrinking every day and unlike the '12 models they won't be replenished.
