Each Saturday we review our server logs to determine the most popular terms typed in on our car search engines. This month a pretty even split between the 2012 deal shoppers and the 2013 tire kickers and overall a lot of interest in SUVs:

New SUVs for 2013 - The Winner
It's been a while since we had anything except a cheap car here in the top spot, but as the new models roll out people want to know what new SUVs for 2013 are on the way. Some to look at? The refreshed Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave, and the new 2013 Ford Explorer Sport is worth a look as well. But the biggest new SUV this year is likely the 2013 Ford Escape.

The Best of 2013, The Most Affordable of 2012
So what seems to be driving people as they shop this month? Well as we complete the transition into the new models of 2013, everyone wants to know whats the best of this whats the best of that. Honestly it depends what sort of metric you use to determine 'best' which is why when it comes to figuring out the best 2013 sedans or the best minivan 2013 has to offer we prefer to just give you all the data and see what meets your taste. Of course if data isn't enough we try and offer reviews and test drives of say the latest 2013 hybrids or trucks or whatever so you can make the best choice. And sometimes just seeing all the 2013 cars under 25000 is enough to determine what catches your eye.
Speaking of pricing, there was plenty of interest in say what cars under 20000 are out there, but suprisingly moreso in more expensive price ranges such as Suvs under 20000 and even some interest this month in cars under 30000. If there is a low end this month, it seems to be the interest in 2012 cars under 15000 which is a pretty solid entry level price point if you're considering an automatic.
Of course what sales are driving all these people out to the dealerships? We'll look at that next week.
