Finding Toyota Prius dealer incentives is a pretty rare event these days. The high demand, limited supply, and eye popping fuel economy well beyond even what other 40 mpg cars offer make this one sought after vehicle. You might see other Toyota new cars for sale with rebates or incentives but frequently the Prius is left out. Until now.
Prius Dealer Incentives
It's pretty exciting to see Prius dealer incentives, but there is a bit of a caveat. Like we commented last weekend, Toyota incentives vary greatly by area so if you are not sure which area incentives your local dealerships are in, be sure to check the Toyota dealer locator and call to verify which 2011 Toyota Prius sale price is which.
Boiled down however, there are three main Toyota incentives that Toyota is advertising this month for the Prius. The lease offer special, the rebate special, and the financing special, and all have the fine print of participating dealerships by region. For example, this means that new cars for sale in the Midwest might not match the exact prices offered in the Southeast, so be mindful.
The financing offers run the gambit from getting Toyota 0% financing for 36 months, to getting 1.9% financing for 48 months, to 2.9% financing for 60 months. Since not all areas got rebate offers, but everyone seems to get financing specials this could be your best offer.
Toyota Prius Rebates
Prius rebates just aren't something you ever see, but depending on where you live, you can get $500 cash back or $1000 cash back this month instead of the financing option. Given the already affordable price compared to other 40 mpg cars, taking an extra $500 to $1000 off is pretty sizeable. Just be sure to check the Toyota dealer locator to verify which rebate you qualify, as it differs by region.
Toyota Prius Lease Specials
The advertised Toyota incentives for lease specials put the Prius at $239 a month which isn't bad if you don't want to commit to the 2011 Toyota Prius sale price of $22,120. However after further checking around we found lease specials varied greatly by area as well. Ohio's offer was the highest at $279 a month with $2799 due at signing and Delaware had the best special with $219 a month with $2999 due at signing. Clearly quite a bit of wiggle room by region so be prepared.
