Terrible sales on the lot and off

As a previous Chevrolet Cavalier owner, who used Rod Hatfield for service, I am very disappointed with my Chevrolet experience while looking to buy a 2010 Camaro.
- On the web, Chevy allows you to Build Your Own, but a car that matches my selection is nowhere to be found. I figured I'd go look at something at least close.
- At Rod Hatfield, I could not test drive a similar car because they said their insurance would not allow it. That's really a lie because it would be my insurance that was used. And how can they expect you to buy a car you've never driven?!
- Rod Hatfield added a $10,000 markup due to "market adjustments." Compared to the web that is false advertising. What's worse is that the salesman said it was a GM markup and they didn't see a penny. Some simple web surfing afterwards led me to find out that was untrue. Some dealers charge no markup and some charge $2500 or other amounts.
- After expressing my disappointment, the salesman still wanted to start the paperwork on the UNDRIVEN car I DIDN'T want. He said he didn't NEED to sell me the car because they would be gone by the weekend anyway. He then promised to research getting me the car I really wanted... I never heard from him again. Emails to the dealer and Chevy go unanswered.
Cash for clunkers or other stimulus plans will not last forever and Rod Hatfield, you are alienating customers with arrogant price increases. I am truly shocked by your business practices.
Review 0/100. Never buy there.
