I went there to be a co-signer on a used car for my granddaughter. The manager pulled a fast one and had me in his office without my granddaughter. Then he had her in his office alone. As I was signing the papers (seemed like a hundred of them), I noted that there wasn't a line for my granddaughter to sign on. He said "We'll have her sign afterwards" but never did. Before we left, I told the salesman I wasn't satisfied with how the deal was handled. He took me and my granddaughter back to the manager. I questioned the reason my name was the only on on the papers and he informed me that if her name was on it, the interest would have been much higher. Being a good grandmother, I truly wanted my granddaughter to have a car and let the deal remain as it was.
Another thing that was not on the up-and-up was the additional charges tacked on to the price of the car; life insurance, GAP insurance, etc. When I questioned those charges after a few months, I was told that if they were removed the cost would come off at the tail end of the loan and would not lower the payments.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau and found there were many complaints against Jorgenson Ford. Therefore, I say, "Buyer beware!"
