Not the greatest experience...

I have been present to purchase two cars from David Stanley twice. The first experience was in 2003, and it was terrible. However, I was hoping that it was just a bad day or just a fluke. I had hoped the second time would be better, but I was disappointed. The two purchases were 6 years apart (2003 and 2009). This review will be over the more recent purchase.
The salesmen were nicer and friendlier, and generally helpful. It is when the sales manager steps in that things get rude and pushy. For example, the car we chose only had one set of keys. They wouldn't even throw in an additional set of keys, saying "it's just a plain set, just go have it copied at Wal-Mart." Long story short, it's a transponder chipped key that I can't just copy at any 'ole hardware shop. Also, the advertised mileage was several thousands less than the actual mileage, and they wouldn't budge on price because of it.
Moving over to the finance department. The "regular" finance guy was very nice, polite, and truly looked like he wanted to help us. It was when his finance manager came in that things got rough. I asked for some prices on extended warranty, and instead of providing me a list, went ahead and added it onto the pink sales slip. I had not agreed to buy any warranty yet. In addition, they wouldn't even give us any discount for being a repeat buyer. The interest rate they could come up with was outrageous. We ended up getting our own financing at more than 12% LESS than the dealer.
Upon delivery of the car, they only filled up the tank halfway. In my many times of purchasing cars with family and friends, I have never had a car delivered with only half a tank.
Since this was my second bad experience with them, I would not recommend anyone go to this dealer. The managers make everything rough.
