In March 2009, I was in the market for a car. So knowing what I wanted, a Toyota Corolla, I went shopping. After a pleasant but unsuccessful visit to CarMax, I went to Toyota of Plano. I was well received, assigned to great young man and went about looking for cars. We found what I wanted and then the nightmare begun. First, I told the sales rep. that I would trade in my car so he went to get me a quote. I was not happy with the process because I had to haggle up the price of my trade. Secondly, I told him how much money I was willing to spend upon which he called his manager who with I had to go all over the information again. After speaking to a third manager(and more than 2 or 3 hours), we could not agree and so he started berating me about my credit and the "poor" condition of my trade. I stood to leave, very unhappy and embarrassed for my sales rep.
Two days later, I got my 2009 black Corolla from Vandergriff Toyota after some good customer service and acceptable value for my trade.
Toyota of Plano called me a few days later asking me to rate their service, all I told them was to never call me again.
