Be Careful of "Tires for Life" deal and make sure you have a spare tire when you leave.

I recently purchased a used Toyota Echo from this dealership. I was offered free tires for life with my purchase and a years worth of free oil changes. Less than a month after my purchase one of the tire's sidewalls blew out and when I went to get the spare tire to change it, I realized that I had been sold a car without a spare tire. When I informed the Sales Manager about this he offered to either replace the flat tire or find a spare tire for me. I said that I had tires for life and that I was under the impression that when I bought a car it would have a spare tire with it. He finally agreed to replace the flat tire and ended up pulling a spare tire out of another used car for me.

A few months later my tires were getting pretty bald and I took them in to get my free ones and I was informed that they had not reached the required mileage to qualify for new tires. After they finally reached the required mileage and were completely bald I went in again to get free tires and they told me that because I hadn't had my last oil change through them that I had voided my agreement and would not ever be able to get free tires.

I will never buy a car from here again, and if anyone wants to risk it, I would suggest they not put a lot of stake in the bells and whistle deals they “throw in”.
