Suzuki finds time to introduce a trio of concept vehicles based on their new truck, the Equator…
RMZ-4, Quad, Quay
Based on their upcoming truck the Equator and originating in Smyrna, Tennessee as a version of the Nissan Frontier, Suzuki used the Chicago Auto Show to showcase three different interpretations of their new compact pickup due out later this year.

To differentiate itself from its Nissan sibling, the Equator will feature a unique hood, grille, front fascia and tailgate, as well as bumpers and front fenders. The three concept trucks, RMZ-4, Quay and Quad represent the three non-automotive areas of Suzuki expertise – performance-oriented motocross, recreational boating and the Suzuki QuadRunner ATV experience, respectively.

Suzuki’s reasoning behind offering a truck such as the Equator is that their motocrossing, boating and ATV customers need to haul their Suzukis in something, and that something might as well be another Suzuki. Sounds logical to us.
