If you still have plans for picking up one of 20 Lamborghini Revention supercars you can put the equivalent of one million Euros back in the bank because the Sant Agata Bolognese-based manufacturer today delivered the last of the lot.

He who hesitates is €1 million richer
Looking like nothing less than Darth Vader’s personal choice of terrestrial transportation, the over-the-top-by-light-years Lamborghini Reventón is based on the ever-so-slightly-less ostentatious Murciélago LP640. While sharing the same basic underpinnings as well as the LP640’s 6.5 liter 12-cylinder engine (with a horsepower bump of 9 for a total of 641), the über-exclusive Reventón shares no body panels with its more proletarian brother.
“The Reventón, however, is the most extreme of all – a superlative on wheels. Based on the technical underpinnings of the Murciélago, we have concentrated and further enhanced the brand’s DNA – its genetic code,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., who personally handed over Reventón Number 20 to its new owner at the factory.

Owners Remain Anonymous
As one of the perks of laying out a million (Euro) large, Winkelmann and company agreed not to release any of the buyers names to the press. But fear not. According to the company, “Most of them view the Reventón not only as the highlight of their collection, but also want to enjoy the intensity of the incomparable driving pleasure. This offers all other Lamborghini fans the chance of at least occasionally coming across a Reventón, be it on a beautiful mountain road, at the side of a race track or at an exclusive social event.” Yeah, right. Unless you live near Monaco, don’t hold your breath.
