Chrome data has recently added the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse and 2009 Subaru Forester to their database that includes vehicle pricing and technical specifications
What’s new for the Eclipse for 2009

For 2009, the Mitsubishi Eclipse receives a mild freshening of the exterior. Changes include restyled front and rear fascias, with new HID headlamps on the GT version and a new dual exhaust system, also offered only on the GT. The new exhaust system ups the horsepower by 2 (hey, it’s better than nothing), to 265.

The Eclipse GT also gets a new rear spoiler as well as standard Active Stability Control. The new fascias on the GT are two-tone, while the Eclipse GS makes do with a monotone paint scheme. The new snout on both models is meant to mimic the one found on the Lancer models in the hopes that their success might somehow trickle down to the Eclipse.
On the inside

New for 2009, the “sun & sound” package features a 650 watt Rockford-Fosgate sound system that includes Sirius satellite radio as well as the usual CD-changer, mp3 and urban-sized subwoofer accoutrements.
New 2009 Subaru Forester grows up

For 2009, the Forester undergoes major changes both inside and out. For starters, the wheelbase has been increased by almost 4” to 103”. Height is up (no pun intended) 1”, while overall width is 70.1”, a 2” increase. According to Subaru, this translates into more rear seat legroom – a sticking point with the old Forester. For those of you who take your Foresters off-road (precious few, if the number of Foresters in the city of Chicago is any indication), ground clearance has also been increased by half an inch.

In the styling department, the Forester has also matured with a more SUV-like appearance. The grille and headlamp design is much more integrated giving the Forester a cleaner and sleeker appearance.

Under the hood, the Forester comes with the familiar 2.5 liter boxer engine in normally aspirated (173hp, 166 lb-ft of torque) or turbo (224hp, 226 lb-ft of torque) guise.
