2002 Lexus LS 430 Review
"Lexus's flagship sedan is redesigned with a larger 4.3-liter V8 to become the LS 430. Styling is similar to the outgoing LS 400, but a 3-inch longer wheelbase and taller roof increase cabin space. A 5-speed automatic transmission, traction/antiskid system, 16-inch wheels and leather/wood interior carry over. Standard curtain side airbags and high-intensity headlamps are new. Firm Euro-Tuned suspension is a no-charge option but requires available 17-inch wheels. Ultra-Luxury package includes air suspension, power door closers, heated/cooled front seats, rear audio and climate controls, navigation system, power rear seat with heat and massage, and upgraded leather/suede trim. Also part of this package is front/rear parking assist, cruise control that automatically maintains a safe following distance, and a new Lexus Link assistance service provided in conjunction with the similar General Motors OnStar system."
