The refashioned 2007 Chevrolet Aveo is a 4-door, 5-passenger compact family sedan. The Chevrolet Aveo comes in two available trims; LS 4-Door and the LT 4-Door. Both of the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo trims have a 1.6L, I4, 103-hp engine and a 5-speed manual transmission with the option of a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Chevrolet Aveo LS 4-Door has 14" steel wheels while the LT 4-Door comes with 15" alloy wheels.
The 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS 4-Door comes with a limited amount of standard features like multiple airbags, radio with 4-speakers, trunk anti-trap, interval wipers, child safety locks, tinted glass, rear defroster, folding rearview mirrors, air-conditioning, rear HVAC, power steering, tilt steering, lumbar support, cloth interior, air filtration system, and daytime running lights. The Chevrolet Aveo LT 4-Door comes with many more features which most are optional on the LS. Those features consist of: an in-dash CD player, keyless entry, remote controls, remote releases, power doors and windows, anti-theft, power adjustable exterior mirror, heated exterior mirror, anti-lockout, carpeted floor mats, upgraded cloth interior, and cruise control.
The 2007 Chevrolet Aveo can be upgraded by choosing any of these options: ABS brakes, CD changer, power sunroof, sun shade, rear spoiler, steering wheel mounted controls (LT only), and fog lights.
The redesigned 2007 Chevrolet Aveo is exactly the vehicle for the younger driver, first time purchaser, or someone who is working with a low budget. The starting price for the Aveo LS is $9,995 while the LT starts at $12,800.

Recalls Issued
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 06V398000
Mfg's Report Date: 10/13/2006
Component: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE
Potential Number Of Units Affected: 17676
Summary: ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 1.6L ENGINE, DURING A NCAP SEVERE FRONTAL CRASH TEST, THE FUEL LINE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT DEVELOPED A FRACTURE. IN ADDITION, THE CRASH DAMAGE CAUSED FOUR SHORT CIRCUITS IN THE FUSE BLOCK, THE COMBINATION OF WHICH ALLOWED THE FUEL PUMP TO CONTINUE RUNNING AND FUEL LEAKED ONTO THE GROUND.
Consequence: IF THESE CONDITIONS OCCURRED IN AN ACTUAL CRASH, A VEHICLE FIRE COULD OCCUR.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUSE BLOCK AND INSTALL A NEW SECTION OF FUEL LINE THAT HAS BEEN REDESIGNED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING NOVEMBER 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT CHEVROLET AT 1-800-630-2438.
Notes: GM RECALL NO. 06133. CUSTOMERS MAY ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S VEHICLE SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), OR GO TO HTTP://WWW.SAFERCAR.GOV.
