Chevrolet Cobalt Reviews - 2007
The 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt is a carryover compact car from 2006. The Cobalt is available as a coupe or a sedan. The Cobalt Coupe comes in the LS, LT, SS, and SS Supercharged while the Cobalt Sedan comes in the LS, LT, LTZ, and SS. The LS Coupe has a standard 2.2-liter, I4, 148-horsepower engine while the SS Supercharged Coupe is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 205-hp engine. All trims come with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Chevrolet Cobalt LT comes with these standard accessories: multiple airbags, anti-trap, CD player, keyless entry, remote releases, remote controls, vehicle and radio anti-theft, full power accessories, anti-lockout, speed sensing interval wipers, tinted glass, power rearview mirror, rear defogger, air-conditioning, trip computer, exterior temperature gauge, tilt steering, automatic headlamps, and daytime running lights. The SS adds ABS, alloy wheels, rear spoiler, cruise control, steering wheel mounted controls, and fog lights. The Cobalt Supercharged Coupe has all of the above but adds on leather interior, 18" wheels, and a supercharged engine. The Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged is the fastest vehicle out of all the different trim selections.
The only premium upgrades for the LS trim are chrome wheels and traction control. The other trims, however, have more like a CD changer; telephone; vehicle location system; and a remote ignition. The SS and the supercharged trims have a power sunroof that is optional and the SS can upgrade to heated seats.
The starting MSRP for the Chevrolet Cobalt is $13,000 and goes to $21,000.
