The 2007 Dodge Nitro is a small 4-door, 5-passenger, all new SUV that is available in 6 trims, ranging from the SXT 4X2 to the R/T 4X4. The Dodge Nitro SXT 4X2 and the Nitro SLT 4X2 have standard 3.7L, V6, 210-hp engines and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Dodge Nitro RT 4X4 has a 4.0L, V6, 255-hp engine with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Standard equipment on all of the 2007 Dodge Nitro trims include: power outlet, multitude of airbags, ABS brakes, traction and stability control, alloy wheels (steel on the SXT), 6-speaker CD stereo system, keyless entry, multi-functional remote, remote controls, anti-theft, full power accessories, child safety locks, roof rack, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, tinted glass, folding/power adjustable rearview mirrors, air-conditioning, steering wheel mounted controls, tilt steering, and exterior rails. The SLT and the RT have standard heated rearview mirrors, cruise control, outside temperature gauge, compass, driver multi-adjustable power seat, fog lights, and a universal garage door opener which are all optional on the SXT. The Dodge Nitro RT has 20" chrome wheels, upgraded exterior trim, and SiriusĀ® radio.
Optional upgrades include: CD changer, DVD player, power sunroof, and a sunshade for all Dodge Nitro trims and a navigational aid, remote ignition, front heated seats, and leather interior for the Nitro SLT and RT.
