The 2007 Ford Explorer, a mid-size SUV, is a 4-door, sport-utility that is a carryover from 2006. The Ford Explorer is available in the XLT; Eddie Bauer; and the Limited trims. The Ford Explorer is available in the 4X2, 4X4, or the Sports Trac. The lower end XLT has a 4.0L, V6, 210-hp engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The highest end, the Explorer Limited, has a 4.6L, V8, 292-hp engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
An array of custom features come with the purchase of a 2007 Ford Explorer which include: alloy wheels, airbags, full power accessories, keyless entry, remote controls and releases, anti-theft, air-conditioning, rear HVAC, CD stereo system, cruise, ABS, traction and stability control, child safety locks, speed sensing interval wipers, rear wiper, power exterior mirrors, tinted and privacy glass, rear defogger, trip computer, outside temperature gauge, steering wheel mounted controls, tilt steering, manual lumbar, fog lights, delayed courtesy lights, and exterior rails. Step it up to the Ford Explorer Limited and add an electronic parking aid; CD changer; heated rearview mirrors; running boards; dual automatic climate control; compass; front power adjustable/heated and memory seats; leather interior; and automatic headlights. Most of these options are standard or optional on the Eddie Bauer and optional on the LXT.
