The 2007 Ford Truck Ranger is a carryover compact truck from 2006. The Ford Ranger is available in a regular cab and extended cab (which is called the Super Cab). The Ford Ranger regular cab comes with either a 6 or 7 foot bed while the Super Cabs come in a 6 foot bed. The different trim levels of the Ford Ranger are: the XL, the STX, the XLT, the Sport, the FX4 Off-Road and the FX4 Level II. The two FX4 trims are only available in the Super Cab styles. Most of the trims come with a standard 2.3L, I4, 143-hp engine with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 2007 Ford Ranger has standard features: driver and passenger airbags, emergency fuel shut-off, ABS, steel wheels and alloy wheels are standard on different trims; radio, interval wipers, folding exterior mirror, tinted glass, bumper step-up, power steering, removable tailgate, and halogen headlights. The Ford Ranger Sport adds; a CD player, anti-theft (optional on other trims), air-conditioning (option for the XL & STX), and fog lights.
The premium stand alone optional upgrades are plentiful. They include: full size spare tire, CD changer, keyless entry, remote controls, locking fuel door, power accessories, locking tailgate, privacy glass, rear sliding window, power adjustable exterior mirrors (not offered on XL), running boards, body lights, cruise, outside temperature gauge, steering wheel mounted controls, compass, tilt steering, second row seat, leather interior, and a bed liner.
Starting price for the lower end Ford Ranger is $13,800.
