The refashioned 2007 Hyundai Elantra is a compact, economically priced, 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan that is available in the GLS, SE, and Limited trim levels. All of the 2007 Hyundai Elantra trims come with a 2.0L, I4, 138-hp engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 4-speed automatic transmission is optional for all trims.
Standard features on the Hyundai Elantra GLS include multiple airbags, remote decklid and fuel door releases, ABS brakes, steel wheels, keyless entry, multi-functional remote, vehicle anti-theft system, some power accessories, interval wipers, tinted glass, heated and power adjustable exterior mirrors, dust and pollen air filtration, stabilizer bar, front and rear suspension, child safety locks, tilt steering, tilt steering column, multiple front and rear storage compartments, and halogen headlamps.
If the consumer steps up to the Elantra SE add on alloy wheels, 6-speaer audio system with CD player, air-conditioning, cruise control, tachometer, steering wheel mounted controls, leather wrapped steering wheel, telescopic steering column, and fog lights. Limited adds heated leather seats (which is optional on the SE), and leather upholstery.
Premium upgrades for all of 2007 Hyundai Elantra models include a power sunroof, a sunshade, mud guards, and a cargo net.
The 2007 Hyundai Elantra Base GLS has a starting price of $13,400; the Hyundai Elantra SE at $15,700; and finally the highest level on this vehicle, the Limited at $16,700.
