The 2007 Kia Optima is a mid-size 4-door, 5-passenger sedan that is available in 2 trims; LX and EX. Each of these trims come in either a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. The Kia Optima LX has a standard 2.4L, I4, 162-hp engine with a 5-speed manual transmission (optional 5-speed automatic). The Kia Optima EX has a standard 2.7L, V6, 185-hp engine with a standard 5-speed automatic transmission.
