The newly redesigned 2007 Kia Sportage is a compact 4-door, 5-passenger SUV that is available in 2 trim levels: the Kia Sportage LX and the Kia Sportage EX. Both trims have FWD and AWD available. The Kia Sportage LX has a standard 2.0L, I4, 140-hp engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 4-speed automatic. The Kia Sportage LX V6 and EX V6 have standard 2.7L, V6, 173-hp engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features on all trims include: power outlets, multiple airbags, power windows and locks, alloy wheels, stereo system with CD player, air-conditioning, remote fuel door release, ABS brakes, traction and stability control, tire detail, interior spare tire, child safety locks, interval and rear wiper, flip-up tailgate window, tinted and privacy glass, power adjustable exterior mirror, rear defroster, skid plate, trip computer, tilt steering and steering column, stabilizer bar, front bucket seats, multiple storage compartments, and halogen headlights. Standard on the EX V6 are keyless entry with remote, anti-theft devices, cruise control, leather steering wheel, and fog lights. All of the above with the exception of the sunroof are optional on the LX V6.
Optional for the EX V6 are CD changer, subwoofer, running boards, heated seats, leather interior and automatic headlights.
