The newly redesigned 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse hatchback is a 2-door, 4-passenger vehicle that is available as a base GS or the sportier GT, and the SE. The 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and SE come with 2.4L, I4, 162 hp engines with a 5-speed manual transmission. The sportier GT has a 3.8L, V6, 263 hp engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. All of the Mitsubishi Eclipse models have 17" alloy wheels.
The standard array of features for the Mitsubishi Eclipse include: multiple airbags, power outlet, remote deck lid release, ABS brakes, keyless entry with remote, tire detail, vehicle anti-theft, full power accessories, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, tinted glass, power adjustable exterior mirror, rear spoiler, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering column, stabilizer bar, front bucket seats, lumbar support, automatic headlamps, and daytime running lights.
The Eclipse GT adds traction control, outside temperature gauge, compass, an optional power adjustable driver's seat, and fog lights. The Mitsubishi GT and GS have a single CD stereo system with 6 speakers, while the SE offers a Rockford Fosgate® 6 CD stereo system with 9 premium speakers. Premium upgrades available are an auto-dimming rearview mirror, 18" wheels, and automatic climate control.
