The 2007 redesigned Nissan Maxima is a mid-size 4-door, up to 5-passenger sedan that is available in two trims; the Maxima SE and the Maxima SL. When introduced both of the 2007 Nissan Maxima trims come with a 3.5-liter, V6, 255-hp engine with a variable automatic transmission. The average mpg for the Maxima is 21mpg city and 28mpg highway. The Nissan Maxima SE trim has a sportier look than the Maxima SL.
