The 2007 Pontiac Solstice is a newly redesigned, 2-door, 2-passenger convertible available in 2 trims: the Base and the GXP. The Pontiac Solstice Base has a 2.4L, I4, 177-hp engine while the Pontiac Solstice GXP has a 2.4L, I4, 260-hp turbo-charged engine. Both trims have a 5-speed manual transmission (5-speed automatic is optional) and 18" alloy wheels.
Standard equipment for both of the 2007 Pontiac Solstice trims include: a manually operated convertible top, rear glass window with defroster, rear window defroster, adjustable tilt steering, 6-speaker audio system with CD player, multiple airbags, anti-trap device, tire detail, vehicle anti-theft, interval wipers, tinted glass, tachometer, power steering, stabilizer bar, front bucket seats, door mounted and seatback storage, halogen automatic headlights, and daytime running lights.
The Solstice GXP has as standard: ABS brakes, stability control, keyless entry with multi-functional remote, full power accessories, power adjustable exterior mirror, cruise control, steering wheel mounted controls, service indicator, leather steering wheel, and fog lights. Most of these features are optional on the Base.
Optional upgrades for both trims include a first aid kit; chrome wheels; CD changer; telephone; vehicle location system; subwoofer; OnStar® telematic systems; satellite radio; radio anti-theft; rear spoiler; manual air-conditioning; and leather interior.
The newly redesigned 2007 Pontiac Solstice Base has an MSRP starting price of $21,500 and the 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP at $26,500.
