The 2007 Saturn ION is a carryover vehicle from 2006. The Saturn ION is 4-door, 5-passenger family vehicle that has a lineup of two body styles and three trim levels: ION 2, ION 3, and Red Line. There are a total of 9 available trim options because each model has available as a coupe or a sedan. The Saturn ION comes with a standard 2.2L, I4, 145-hp engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Saturn ION has a trim that is discontinued after 2007 and it is the Red Line Quad Coupe. This model has a 2.0L, I4, 205-hp engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features on the ION 2 and ION 3 sedan and coupe are: multiple airbags, trunk anti-trap, remote tailgate release, stereo system with CD player, hands-free telephone, vehicle location system, anti-theft, anti-lockout, vehicle tracking, interval wipers, tinted glass, rear defogger, tilt steering/column, front bucket seats with height adjustment and lumbar support, halogen headlights, and daytime running lights. Standard for the ION 3 only (optional on the ION 2) include; keyless entry, power adjustable exterior mirror, full power accessories, air filtration, cruise, steering wheel mounted controls, access door, second row bucket seats, automatic headlights, and fog lights.
Options include: ABS brakes, traction control, CD changer, locking fuel door, power sunroof, sunshade, rear spoiler, temperature gauge, compass, leather interior (ION 3 only).
