The 2008 Solstice is a convertible sports car available in two trims; the Pontiac Solstice Convertible and the Pontiac Solstice GXP Convertible. The Solstice is 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports vehicle that is a carry over from 2007. The Pontiac Solstice Convertible is equipped with a customary 2.4-liter, I4, 173-hp engine while the GXP Convertible is equipped with a customary 2.0-liter, I4, 260-hp, turbo engine. Both trims have a standard 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
