The 2008 Saturn VUE is an AUV that comes in 6 trims - AWD V6 XE, V6 XR, V6 Red Line, FWD V6 XE, V6 XR and the V6 Red Line. The 2008 Saturn VUE is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility vehicle. The VUE XE has a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 169hp engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission while the VUE Red Line has a customary 3.6-liter, V6, 257-hp engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2008 Saturn VUE comes with a 36,000mi/36 month basic warranty.

The standard features on the 2009 Saturn VUE consist of a front and rear power outlet; multiple safety airbags, ABS brakes, traction and stability control, alloy wheels, tire detail, interior spare tire, stereo system with CD player, second row sound accessories, hands free telephone, vehicle location system, keyless entry with remote, vehicle anti-theft, power accessories, child safety door locks, folding and power adjustable exterior mirrors, tinted and privacy glass, cruise, trip computer, steering wheel mounted controls, tilt steering, and automatic headlights.

The XR and the Red Line add heated exterior mirrors, illuminated vanity mirrors, automatic climate control, leather steering wheel, and a driver multi-adjustable power seat. Fog lights, front heated seats, and leather interior are standard on the Red Line only.

Optional premium upgrades include: pre-wiring, engine block heater, first aid kit, navigational aid, CD changer, subwoofer, remote ignition, universal garage door opener, wheel locks, heated washer system, rain-sensing wipers, and running boards.

The 2008 Saturn VUE is refreshed for 2008 and has a starting base price of $20,770.

	The Rollover Resistance Rating is an estimate of your risk of rolling over if you have a single vehicle crash. It does not predict the likelihood of that crash. The Rollover Resistance Rating utilizes a "fishhook" maneuver which is a series of abrupt turns at varying speeds to see how "top-heavy" a vehicle is. The more "top-heavy" the vehicle, the more likely it is to roll over. The lowest rated vehicles (1-star) are at least four times more likely to roll over than the highest rated vehicles (5-stars).

Summary	GM IS RECALLING 44,451 MY 2008 SATURN VUE VEHICLES WITH BODY COLOR OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES. THE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES MAY STICK OR BIND. IF THIS WERE TO OCCUR, THE DOOR MAY NOT LATCH WHEN CLOSED.
Consequence	DRIVING WITH AN UNLATCHED DOOR COULD RESULT IN AN UNBELTED OCCUPANT FALLING OUT OF THE VEHICLE, CAUSING INCREASED RISK OF INJURY.
