The 2009 MDX is a 4-door, 7-passenger luxury SUV that is available in 5 trims ranging from the Acura MDX Base to the MDX Sport Package/Entertainment Package. All Acura MDX trims have a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 300 hp engines that get 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. All trims have a 5-speed automatic transmission. A 50,000 mile/48 month is the basic warranty on the 2009 Acura MDX. The 2009 Acura MDX is a carryover from 2008.

The 2009 Acura MDX comes with standard feature which include – power accessories, AWD and 4WD, traction/stability control and alloy wheels. Other luxury features include leather interior, air conditioning, rear HVAC ducts and controls, separate driver/passenger controls, cruise control, outside temperature gauge, steering wheel mounted controls, trip computer, anti-lockout and anti-theft. The 2009 Acura MDX also has power front and rear seats with heat, memory and lumbar support. The third row seats recline and fold for storage and comfort. Memory and signaling exterior mirrors, speed sensing wipers keyless remote, universal garage door opener , fog lights, power sunroof and a tilt memory steering column are other features standard on the 2009 Acura MDX.

The 2009 Acura MDX Sport/Entertainment Package includes even more features such as: second row folding seats, DVD player, second row sound controls and an electronic parking aid. These features may be optional on the other 2009 Acura MDX trims.

Optional features include a cargo net with cover, roof rack, cigarette lighter with ashtray, sport side running boards and a towing package.
