A carryover from 2008 the 2009 Kia Rondo is a 4-door, 7-passenger wagon that is available in 5 trims. These trims range from Kia Rondo Base to the Kia Rondo EX. The Kia Rondo Base comes with a 2.4 liter, I4, 175hp engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 2009 Kia Rondo EX has a standard 2.7 liter, V6, 198hp engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The new 2009 Kia Rondo averages 19mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. The basic warranty for the 2009 Kia Rondo is 60,000mi/60 month.

The 2009 Kia Rondo comes with many standard features - ABS brakes, stability control, front/rear suspension, power accessories, safety airbags, child safety door locks, power outlets, tilt steering, rear defroster, tire pressure monitor, air conditioning, power exterior mirrors, rear HVAC ducts, automatic headlights, delayed courtesy lighting, rear wiper, multiple storage compartments and a CD player.
