The 2009 Nissan Sentra has been updated from 2008. The Nissan Sentra is a 4-door 5-passenger sedan that is offered in 5 models starting with the FE+ 2.0 and extending to the SE-R Spec-V. The 2009 Nissan Sentra FE+ 2.0 has a routine 2.0 liter, I4, 140hp engine while the SE-R Spec-V has a 2.5 liter, I4, 200hp engine. A 6-speed manual transmission or a variable speed automatic transmission is routine. The 2009 Nissan Sentra averages 23mpg city and 20mpg on the highway. A 36,000/36 month is the basic warranty for the Nissan Sentra.

Summary NISSAN IS RECALLING CERTAIN VEHICLES THAT WERE EQUIPPED WITH A GARMIN NUVI MODEL 750 NAVIGATION SYSTEM. THE BATTERIES CONTAINED IN THE AFFECTED GPS UNITS CAN OVERHEAT.
Consequence OVERHEATED BATTERIES COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy NISSAN WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND THE REPAIRS WILL BE PERFORMED BY GARMIN TECHNICIANS BY REPLACING THE BATTERY AND INSERTING A SPACER ON TOP OF THE BATTERY FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT GARMIN DIRECTLY AT 1-866-957-1981 OR NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261.

The Rollover Resistance Rating utilizes a "fishhook" maneuver which is a series of abrupt turns at varying speeds to see how "top-heavy" a vehicle is. The more "top-heavy" the vehicle, the more likely it is to roll over. The lowest rated vehicles (1-star) are at least four times more likely to roll over than the highest rated vehicles (5-stars).
