The Kia Forte is brand new for 2010. The 2010 Forte is a 4-door, 5-passenger sedan that is offered in 3 trims - the Kia Forte LX, the Forte EX and the Forte SX. The new 2010 Kia Forte LX has a customary 2.0-liter, I4, 156hp engine and a 5-speed manual transmission; however, a 4-speed automatic transmission is optional. The 2010 Kia Forte SX has a 2.4 liter, I4, 173hp engine and a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 5-speed automatic transmission. The mpg average for the 2010 Kia Forte is 23 city and 33 highway. The 2010 Kia Forte carries a 60,000/60 basic warranty.

The new 2010 Forte EX comes with the following as standard: child safety door locks, ABS brakes, traction control, stability control, front power outlet, CD player, automatic headlights, halogen headlights, manual air conditioning, steering wheel mounted controls, delayed courtesy lighting, trunk light, trunk anti-trap, second row bench seat, tilt steering, front/rear suspension, stabilizer bar, steel wheels, folding mirror, intermittent wipers, rear defroster and tinted glass.
