The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder is a 4-door 7-passenger new SUV that has been carried over from 2010. The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in 9 models beginning with the S 4X2 and extending to the LE V8 4X4. The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder S 4X2 has a 4.0 liter, V6, 266hp engine and the Pathfinder LE V8 4X4 has a 5.6 liter, V8, 310hp engine. A 5-speed automatic transmission is customary on all models. The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder carries a 36,000/36 month basic warranty and averages over 10 MPG in the city and 20mpg on the highway.

Summary Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2008-2011 Titan, Frontier, Xterra, Pathfinder, Armada, and 2008-2009 Quest vehicles. The resin emblem on the driver's air bag cover may develop cracks and detach during air bag deployment.
Consequence A detached emblem can become a projectile during air bag deployment, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
Remedy The remedy is currently under development. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed April 10, 2023. Second letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall are PC944, PC945, and PC946.
