The 2012 Honda Ridgeline is 4-door, 5-passenger new compact truck that has been carried over from 2011. The 2012 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 models beginning with the RT and extending to the RTL with Leather and Navigation. The 2012 Honda Ridgeline models have a 3.5 liter, V6, 250hp engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 Honda Ridgeline carries a 36,000/36 month basic warranty and averages over 10 MPG in the city and 21mpg on the highway.

The 2012 Honda Ridgeline RTL with Leather and Navigation comes with the following standard features: full power accessories, programmable locking, vehicle/radio anti-theft, child safety door locks, vehicle/valet anti-lockout, full-time 4-wheel drive, traction control, stability control, automatic locking hubs, ABS brakes, CD player, MP3 player, GPS navigation aid, Bluetooth® wireless access, daytime running lights, automatic headlights, fog lights, front air dam, rear bumper step-up, crew cab, automatic climate controls, rear ducts, air filter, cruise control, digital clock, steering wheel mounted controls, tire pressure monitor, voice activated controls, compass, trip computer with fuel consumption, temperature gauge, leather steering wheel, keyless entry, remote fob, universal garage door opener, electronic parking aid with camera, front heated/power/leather seats, driver power lumbar, tow hitch receiver, tow hooks, a power sunroof, sliding rear window, tinted glass and power/heated exterior mirrors. *All features may not come standard on other models.

Summary Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2006-2014 Ridgeline vehicles that were sold, or ever registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. An accumulation of road salt may cause the frame mounting surface, where the fuel tank mounting bands are attached, to corrode and possibly detach the fuel tank, which can result in a fuel leak.
Consequence A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy Dealers will inspect and repair the rear frame, as necessary, free of charge. Depending on the extent of any corrosion damage, Honda may offer to repurchase the vehicle. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 1, 2022. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.
