2015 GMC Canyon Review
The 2015 GMC Canyon is a 4-door, 5-passenger new truck that has been carried over from 2014. The 2015 GMC Canyon is available in three models, the Base, the SLE, and the SLT. All 2015 GMC Canyon models have a 2.5-liter, 200 hp engine, and a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission. The 2015 GMC Canyon averages 20 MPG city and over 20 MPG highway. The 2015 GMC Canyon carries a 36 month/36,000 mile basic warranty.

Summary General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon vehicles. The power steering assist may be lost due to a poor electrical connection within the steering gear assembly.
Consequence A loss of power steering, particularly at lower speeds increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace steering gear torque sensor cover assembly, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 10, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N202325410.
