In an attempt to lure more buyers into its showrooms, Volkswagen is offering a stripped-down trim level on the 2017 Tiguan (not to be confused with the all-new, larger, 2018 Tiguan. Priced at $22,895 (including a $900 destination charge), it represents a $2,965 savings over the 2017 Tiguan S (the previous entry-level model), as well as a $3,350 savings over the larger, all-new, second-generation 2018 Tiguan.
