According to Ford, Edge sales figures point to the fact that many buyers in the Dallas Metroplex choose a cloth interior over technology "because cloth seating materials tend to be more comfortable in the heat." First unveiled in concept form at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the Nissan Qashqai has been on sale in Europe and other world markets since 2006.
Later this spring, it will finally appear in the North American market as the Rogue Sport – although, for reasons known only to Nissan, in Canada it will still be called the Qashqai. It will also battle for sales in an increasingly-crowded market segment that now includes such stalwarts as the Honda HR-V, Toyota C-HR, Jeep Renegade, and Mazda CX-3.
If you enjoy driving and simply must have a compact crossover, the Mazda CX-5 is the way to go. In addition to its sedan-like handling, the first-generation model also featured Mazda's Kodo "soul in motion" styling – which set it apart from the blandness that is the unfortunate norm in the segment.
The second-generation version promises to be even better, but up until now, we didn't have much in the way of particulars, until now.
the 2017 Kia Sorento represents a great offering for the Korean brand. Those who haven’t visited a Kia dealer lately will probably be surprised by the window sticker prices, but keep in mind they represent lot of luxury for the buck. Buyers looking for a secure handling, handsomely-styled, luxuriously-appointed midsize crossover would do well to put the 2017 Kia Sorento at or near the top of their lists.
