The Korean manufacturer announces a relationship with Shell Oil and its Quaker State brand that should result in both competitive prices and faster service at Hyundai dealers here in the U.S.
Get in, Get out, Get back to your life.
I can't imagine anyone enjoying waiting around while their car gets an oil change. Fortunately, neither can Hyundai, otherwise how else would you explain the recently announced partnership with Shell Oil and the Quaker State brand of motor oils.
But it goes even further than that as the move should also increase awareness of Hyundai's push to offer its Assurance Car Care Express service centers in all of its dealerships. Boasting the tagline "Get in, Get out, Get back to your life", you'd expect the service to be quick, and that's just what it's designed to be.
"Hyundai Motor America's commitment to our consumers is exemplified by our 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and the Assurance Connected Care program," said Frank Ferrara, executive vice president, customer satisfaction, Hyundai Motor America. "We're proud to work with Quaker State, a brand well-known for quality lubricants, to further that commitment. Hyundai recognizes the dedication of Quaker State to produce motor oil that helps improve cars' performance, efficiency, emissions and durability."
The express program offers customers, who service their vehicles at Hyundai dealerships, quick oil changes, multi-point vehicle inspections, tire rotation, air and cabin filter replacements, wiper blades, and other basic services as needed without having to watch "Gone with the Wind" in its entirety in the waiting room.
The goal: get customers who need these kinds of services in and out of dealership service drives in under an hour.
Sounds like a great idea.
