Each Monday we review our server logs to determine the most popular terms typed in on our new car search engine. This week although Ford ran away with the votes they did not manage to catch first place
Chevrolet Cruze
Ford Flex
Ford Taurus
Ford Expedition
Lamborghini Murcielago
Dodge Journey
GMC Sierra
Mini Cooper
Toyota Tacoma
Chevrolet Spark
Chevrolet Cruze - The Winner
Yes the leader in our new car search terms this week was the all new Chevy Cruze, with 'more' votes than anyone else this week, squeezing past the Ford Flex by four points. Given the Cruzes affordable pricing and excellent mileage, it maybe quite deserving of its first place seat.
Ford Flex - Runner Up
Who says the station wagon is dead? The 2011 Ford Flex is still carrying on people carrier tradition with a car comfort ride. One of three top results for Ford this week, the popularity is proof of the rising popularity of the Flex brand.
Bad Week for Asian Imports
Only one Japanese import made our list this week, taking up the number nine slot with the Toyota Tacoma. We did have two other import cars making the list this week, but both hail from Europe in the Mini Cooper and the ultra sexy (and pricey) Lamborghini Murcielago snagged the #5 slot. We're guessing window shoppers are doing most of that searching for the Lambo.
Rounding out the rest of this weeks list in order of ranking, the number three spot and four spot are Fords. Namely the Ford Taurus and longstanding staple the Ford Expedition. Our one, and only Chrysler product, the Dodge Journey came in sixth this week, offering customers minivan utility with SUV looks. One of only two trucks to make this weeks list, the GMC Sierra comes in seventh by a slight margin. Bringing up the rear is the Chevrolet Spark, likely on the interest in the news of there being an all electric version to be released in 2013. That's it for this week, check back next week!
