The 2011 XC60 is a 4-door 5-passenger luxurious new SUV that has been carried over from 2010. The 2011 Volvo XC60 is available in 4 models beginning with the 3.2 and extending to the T6 AWD R-Design. The 2011 Volvo XC60 3.2 has a routine 3.2 liter, I6, 240hp engine while the T6 AWD R-Design has a 3.0 liter, I6, 300hp turbo engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission is customary on both models. The 2011 XC60 carries a 50,000/48 basic warranty and averages 18mpg city and 24mpg on the highway.

Summary VOLVO IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 S80, XC70, MODEL YEAR 2011 XC60 AND MODEL YEAR 2010 V70 VEHICLES. THERE MAY BE AN INTERMITTENT FAULT IN THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING WIRING CONNECTOR FOR THE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM.
Consequence IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THE DRIVER'S FRONTAL AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY AS INTENDED OR AT ALL, AND THEREFORE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROPERLY PROTECT THE DRIVER, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES.
Remedy DEALERS WILL INSTALL A METAL SHIM IN THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG CLOCKSPRING WIRING CONNECTOR. THIS SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 29, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT VOLVO AT 1-800-458-1552.
