In collaboration with Snap-on and Mopar, Dodge will include a customized crate, chock-full of specialized tools, with the Challenger SRT Demon.
2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
With no carpeting or spare tire cover, very little trunk trim, a stereo with only two speakers, and only a standard driver's seat (the others are optional), the Challenger SRT Demon is said to weigh a good 215 pounds less than the current Hellcat.
Other clues found in a series of video teasers indicate that Dodge has managed to wring an additional 50 horsepower from the Hellcat's Hemi, for a total of 757 ponies.
We could go on and on, but Dodge has just announced an additional spiff for Demon owners: their very own customized crate of tools.
Dodge calls it the "Demon Crate" and, according to the manufacturer, it contains "a unique selection of Demon logo'd, professional quality track tools brought to you through Snap-on Business Solutions." So it's all really top-drawer (pun intended) stuff.
The crate, itself, is custom painted, while the limited-production tools it contains aren't what could be described as "off the shelf" by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, many of these tools are inscribed with the Demon logo. They include:
• A hydraulic floor jack
• A cordless impact wrench with charger
• A torque wrench
• A tire pressure gauge
• A fender cover
• A tool bag
All of that swag is packed into the crate along with a dozen more select bits that feature a selection of Direct Connection Performance Parts as well as matching Demon-head logo'd wheels and the Demon Track Pack System.
