The iconic and legendary Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has reached the end of the line. Mitsubishi sent the four-door sports car off in style with the Final Edition variant, and now they are out to do some good for those in need with the last one on our shores.
The final 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition ever produced is being auctioned off on eBay. All proceeds of the auction are going to two charities affiliated with Feeding America: the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino.
The auction, which went live yesterday, is taking place right now on eBay for Charity. It's set to conclude Thursday, September 15th at 9:00 a.m. PT, so get your bids in while you can. How cool would it be to be the owner of the very last EVO produced?
The auction corresponds with national Hunger Action Month, which Feeding America endorses in September every year. Feeding America and its member food banks take the month to ask everybody in the country to take action to fight hunger in their community by any means possible.
"Mitsubishi's auction of the final Lancer Evolution will make a big difference in the lives of so many men, women and children who look to us for support every day," said CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County Nicole Suydam. "We are very grateful for their generosity."

2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition
The Lancer EVO has long been the pulse of Mitsubishi, so it is only fitting that the sports sedan was sent off in style. Mitsubishi decided to produce 1,600 2015 Lancer Evolution Final Editions, and many believe this variant is the best version of the classic car Mitsubishi has ever built.
The Final Edition EVO is powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter 16-valve inline 4-cylinder that is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. With 303 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft. of torque, the Final Edition is the most powerful mass-produced Evolution ever built.
These Lancer EVOs are complete with upgraded shock absorbers, springs, and rotors, Final Edition badging, and a black interior with red stitch accents. Gearheads are sad to see it go, but happy it went out like this.
And you've got until next Thursday to bid on the last-ever-produced 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition. The car is complete with a collectible production plaque US1600 inside. The bidding on eBay started at $46,200, but that's up to $50,100 as of this writing. That's well above MSRP, but, hey, it's for a good cause.
