Hyundai Enters the Hydrogen Race

this past Wednesday at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show it was Korean automaker Hyundai that threw down the gauntlet, announcing that in the spring of next year it will begin offering its next-generation Tucson Fuel Cell vehicle through a small group of select Hyundai dealers stating that For the first time, retail consumers will be able to put a mass-produced, federally certified hydrogen fuel cell vehicle in their driveways.

Clubbing with Mazda

The 2013 SEMA Show can boast about a number of OEM press conferences, but a few manufacturers resorted to a much lower key approach. Among those was Japanese manufacturer Mazda - even though its stand contained four concept vehicles plus an example of the Mazda6 GX-class race car that won the Grand-Am GX Manufacturers Championship this year.

Ford Shows Trucks Cars and Stars

It was exactly a week ago today that the Ford press conference took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the home of the annual dessert in the desert known as the SEMA show. This year's festivities not only included the requisite over-the-top customizations of both cars and trucks from Ford's stables, but also a very special custom 1956 Ford F-100 destined for Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale auction in 2014.
