When the 2012 SEMA show opens on October 30th in Las Vegas there will be plenty to talk about. However Mopar, Chrysler Groups custom parts division, isn't content to wait till the show begins however to show off. In fact 24 Mopar-enhanced Chrysler vehicles will be on display at this years show but one juiced up car we grantee will have everyone talking.

Mopar's Dodge Charger Juiced

It's called the Dodge Charger Juiced, and with its two tone metallic gloss and matte copper colored paint job and black accents all sitting on 20-inch wheels its certainly a head turner. But it is whats under the hood and printed on the nearby tech-specs that will stop everyone in their tracks.

As it is, the stock Dodge Charger isn't your average grocery getter with its base V-6 engine with 292 horsepower. Add Dodge's V-8 engine capable of producing 370 horsepower and you're getting a little closer to the muscle car its styling so clearly draws inspiration from.

When Chrysler rolled out the SRT edition capable of producing a floor pounding 470 horsepower it seemed to signaled the peak of Charger performance. If you needed more power it would seem you would need an SRT Viper to get it.

However coiled under the hood, painted Copperhead Metallic, is not the stock V6, or the performance V8 engine used in the SRT. Instead Mopar injected this Charger with 650 horsepower of Viper V-10 engine venom, ensuring that this Charger is indeed as juiced as they could get it.

A Charger with a Viper engine

Of course other Mopar parts make an appearance. From the cold air intake to the cat-back exhaust making the Juiced sound as menacing as it should, to the custom hood with functional forward facing air intake and Mopar badged split cross hair grill which help make it look as menacing as it sounds.

But as you sit inside surrounded by black with copper colored trim highlights, or wrapped in Copperhead color stitched leather holding the pistol-grip shifter in your hand its not the custom Mopar badging surrounding you that draws your mind. Its one stray thought. Baby Viper.

That is at least until the Mopar staff ask you to wipe your chin and get out of the vehicle so someone else can take their turn. But that probably happens to everyone.
